Anthea Hartzenberg is a senior growth, communications, and community strategist with 10 years of experience in the African & European startup and tech ecosystems. She formerly headed Engagement at OfferZen, Africa’s largest developer talent marketplace. Anthea scaled OfferZen’s B2B and B2C community strategy and branded merchandise operations from 100,000 developers in South Africa to six additional European markets, including Germany, the Netherlands, the UK, and Spain. Prior to OfferZen, she worked as Strategic Communications and Media Relations Manager at JUMO, the leading fintech in Africa at the time, valued at over $400 million.
Jill Curr
Managing Partner – MSFT Ventures
Jill has almost a decade of investment experience in venture capital, private equity, and hedge funds in Africa. During her five years at Newtown Partners (NP), she deployed more than $10M in seven Seed and Series A venture capital transactions across Africa and Latin America in various industries, including healthcare, e-commerce, and agritech.
She was a board observer for five start-ups and works closely with entrepreneurs on strategy development, transaction structuring, and advisory. Jill was leading NP Fund 1’s exit strategy and has secured a roll-up exit for an early-stage last-mile delivery startup with a regional logistics champion in Latin America.

Sahil Affriya
Founder & CEO – Shiprazor
Sahil Affriya is the visionary founder and CEO of Shiprazor, a pioneering logistics technology startup focused on tackling the distinct challenges of e-commerce and logistics across Africa. His entrepreneurial journey commenced in India and took a pivotal turn when he relocated to South Africa to pursue an MBA at the University of Cape Town. Following his MBA, Sahil assumed the role of Principal at Savant VC Fund, where he gained invaluable insights into the African startup ecosystem. Later on Sahil resigned from Savant to start Shiprazor.
Shiprazor, under Sahil’s leadership, offers a comprehensive platform that leverages technology to streamline logistics processes, ultimately enhancing efficiency and customer satisfaction. His work is driven by a vision to revolutionize last-mile delivery and become a bridge between India-Africa trade.
